WalkWest Productions is a full-service music production facility created to realize the compositions and film & TV scoring work of Steve Mullen.
With over 20 years of experience writing songs and music for film, TV and advertising, Steve brings a deep understanding of the interaction between visual media and music. At home composing in both traditional & emerging styles of music, his chief strength is in combining genres to create completely distinct and ‘own-able’ musical brands.
His knowledge and experience have helped him to develop a production style that is built around the ‘stored memory’ inherent in the music we know, to call on the associations we have with music from our collective past, and to create new combinations that bring nuance & distinction to each project.

The WalkWest Studio is built around a MacPro Quad-Core Intel Xeon, Logic Pro 9, Melodyne, Kontakt 4, Vienna Orchestra, EastWest Symphonic Choir with WordBuilder, Stylus RMX, Omnisphere, RealGuitar, Arturia Moog Modular, 75 sample library catalogs, the WalkWest Sample Library (a unique & private library of stylistic performances,) a 1915 Steinway ‘B’ grand piano, a collection of state-of-the-art microphones, and access to some of the finest musicians in the world.
